🇺🇸 5–7 Business Day Shipping From Our US Warehouse
Keep loving bricks. Always.
Nobody here will tell you their bricks aren't excellent — we're builders too, and the shelves behind us prove it. The brick was never the problem. The price was. The brick patent expired in the 1970s: at brand price you're paying for the licence, the retail markup and the marketing — not the plastic. We make the same brick, to the same tolerance, and skip the badge.
MONEY BACK 30 DAYS
The 30-Day "Ship It Back" Guarantee
Build it, display it, love it — or send it back within 30 days for every dollar, no questions asked. The risk is entirely ours.

Why the price looks too good
Same Bricks. Same Build. A Fraction of the Price.
Nobody explains this on the shelf tag — so here it is, in plain words.
1
The brick patent expired in the 1970s. Anyone is allowed to make the brick, to the exact same dimensions. That part isn't a secret — it's law.
2
At $1,400 for a sealed original, you're paying for everything except the bricks. The licence, the brand, the retail markup, the marketing. The plastic is the cheapest thing in the box.
3
We make the same brick, to the same tolerance — and skip the badge. Tight clutch, crisp color, fully compatible with every brick you already own.
4
Then a person on our team opens, counts and re-seals every box. Numbered bags, a clear illustrated guide, and a hand-checked piece count before it ever ships.
Why the bargain-bin alternatives failed you: they cut the plastic, not the badge. Soft clutch, mystery bags, missing pieces, no one to call. We cut the badge and kept the brick — that's the whole difference, and it's why the trust checklist below exists.

What Builders Report, Hour by Hour
Screen-free hours, honestly counted:
Hour 1
Numbered bags out, zero sorting — the oval base and the hypogeum start taking shape in the first sitting.
Hour 15
The arches begin to stack — Doric, then Ionic, then Corinthian. Builders describe this stretch as pure meditation, ring after ring.
Hour 30
Rome on your table: 9,036 pieces, 23.5 inches of arena, olive trees at the walls. The set Retired — finished, displayed, yours.

Every set that leaves our warehouse gets opened, counted and re-sealed by a person on our team. BrickSmart started after one too many expensive boxes with loose bricks and missing pieces — so if a set isn't good enough for our own shelf, it doesn't go in the box.

The most impressive thing on my shelf
Build quality is outstanding. The arches line up perfectly ring after ring, and the finished arena is the most impressive thing on my shelf. 9,000 pieces and not one missing.

9,036 pieces, totally stress-free
I was terrified of the piece count. The numbered bags made it totally stress-free — you build it one ring at a time and it just grows. A real centrepiece.

He loves it
Bought it for my husband, who missed this set before it retired. The column detail is so sharp and everything clicked together tight. He loves it.

The Colosseum in brick form
The Colosseum in brick form — what's not to love. Premium feel, tight clutch, and the 360° base means there's no bad angle to display it from.

The hypogeum is the best part
The underground level is the best part — most people don't even know the real one had it. The cross-section design shows everything at once.

Well organised, pieces fit great
Tried a few huge sets and usually got stuck. This one was well organised, pieces fit great, and it looks unreal lit up at night.
Frequently Asked Questions
No — and we say it plainly. BrickSmart is an independent brand. The brick patent expired in the 1970s, so we build our bricks to the same dimensions and the same tight tolerance, fully compatible with every brick you already own. What you're not paying for is the badge — that's the entire price difference.
Yes. Clutch power — how firmly bricks grip — is the whole game, and it's the first thing we test. Tight-tolerance molds, crisp color, and a finished model that stays rock-solid on the shelf for years. If any of that isn't true of your set, the 30-day guarantee applies, no questions asked.
This is the fear we built the company around. A person on our team opens, counts and re-seals every box before it ships — that's the hand-check. If anything is still short, we ship you the part or refund you in full. You will never be left mid-build with no one to call.
Most builders finish the arena in 25–35 relaxing, screen-free hours across multiple sittings — it builds ring by ring, so it's easy to stop and restart without losing your place.
9,036 pieces in numbered bags — the full elliptical arena with all three column tiers, the hypogeum underground level, brick-built olive trees, and a complete illustrated guide.
The original was retired in late 2023, and sealed boxes now trade for around $1,400 on the collector market. That's exactly why we make it: the build itself — all 9,036 pieces of it — for $320.00, hand-checked and shipped from our US warehouse.
Our studs don't carry a logo, and there are no minifigures — the original didn't include any either; it's a pure architecture build. If you're buying sealed boxes as investments, buy an original. If you're buying the arena for your shelf, this is the same build.
Every order gets 5–7 business day shipping from our US warehouse, with tracking. No four-week overseas wait, no customs surprises — the box is already in the country.
